Montgomery, AL- Cassie Bachman, a highly regarded legal professional in the captive insurance industry, has joined Arsenal as Director of Legal Affairs. In this role, Cassie serves as internal legal counsel for Arsenal and its subsidiaries and ensures the regulatory compliance of all alternative risk transfer vehicles under Arsenal’s management.

Prior to joining Arsenal, Cassie worked for an independent captive manager where she served as Managing Director of Compliance after working in the legal sector for over eight years. She has extensive experience in assisting Fortune 500 companies with complex compliance issues surrounding US integration of international executives and key employees. Cassie’s unique organizational skills are focused on ensuring a smooth pathway for clients in creating and owning their own captive insurance company.

During her time in the alternative risk sector, Cassie has played a pivotal role in several compliance matters and notable captive insurance cases, including the IRS v. Delaware DOI Case and the IRS Amicus Brief. She served as judicial intern for the Chief Justice in the Eastern District of Oklahoma and volunteered as a Legal Licensed Intern for the Norman Juvenile Drug Court and the University of Oklahoma Legal Clinic.

Cassie received a Political Science and History graduate degree from Oklahoma State University, a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from the University of Oklahoma College of Law, an Associate in Captive Insurance (ACI) designation from the International Center for Captive Insurance Education, and a Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation from the National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research.
